Sony Ericssons W950i comes with a built in 4Gb hard drive, a 240 x 320 touch screen which also supports handwriting recognition. Connectivity is provided by USB 2.0 and bluetooth to other devices such as a PC or other phone. Network wise this phone supports GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900 or in other words, it’s a Tri-Band phone. The phone is also UMTS capable allowing for faster transfer speeds of up to 384kbps via a 3G network. The 4Gb internal disk means that no memory slot is available. However, 4Gb on this device means that you probably would not need to add more memory via a memory card. The operating system is Symbian v9.1, UIQ 3.0.
One feature I am suprised at is the lack of a camera on this device. It’s not often a new state of the art phone is released with no digital camera attached.
Overall this does look like a great phone from what we can see, and it will be one phone I would like to give a full review of.
