Last week we came across information indicating that Vodafone in the UK could be getting the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini. This has now been confirmed by a coming soon page on the Vodafone online store.
The X10 Mini from Sony Ericsson is an Android OS phone that has a small 2.5 inch screen (hence the Mini name). It has a 5 megapixel camera on the back and also has a built in GPS. For connectivity it will connect to 3G and HSDPA networks and also has Bluetooth and WiFi available for connections to the web if needed.
As Vodafone only has the X10 Mini listed as coming soon, prices and contract details have not been release just yet. With that in mind, we do hope to find out official pricing and a launch date very soon with perhaps an official launch of the handset early June or perhaps even late May.
As soon as details are made available we’ll post them here. For now, registration for showing interest in the phone can be done over at the Vodafone site.
