It looks like the Spotify US release date has been moved to 2011 now due to no licensing agreements being signed between the company and major music publishers. The release date was expected to squeeze in before the end of the year although it seems like this wont happen now.
Spotify currently runs in Europe and allows those users to either use a free version filled with ads, or pay £10/month (UK price) and listen without ads to almost any music track they want.
Right now there are around 750,000 users in Europe and it is expected that this number will increase heavily after a US roll out of the service.
We expect to hear more from them in 2011.
