Asus has launched a teaser page in preparation for the launch of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. The device is a tablet that has an NVIDIA quad-core Kal-El processor inside (a Tegra 2).
The Eee Pad Transformer Prime is the world’s first tablet to feature Project Kal-El, NVIDIA’s next-generation quad-core Tegra® mobile chip, giving birth to a new breed of high powered tablet devices. Armed with this technology, the Transformer Prime is blazing fast. In fact, we are setting a new industry standard for how fast a tablet should be. Multitasking and HD movies? Piece of cake.
For those of you unsure of what the Eee Pad Transformer Prime is, it’s a tablet that also combines/connects with a keyboard so that it can be used in a laptop form factor. We don’t have full details of pricing or a launch date but what we do know is that when it launches it will run the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system making it more tablet like rather than PC like.
Although you wont see much in the video below, it does give a quick glimpse of what to expect when the tablet launches.
