Update: Pocket Gamer also reports the same details as Recombu.
The iPhone 4 UK launch is tomorrow. We still haven’t heard officially from Three, T-Mobile or Tesco Mobile although Recombu are reporting the Tesco Mobile iPhone 4 prices. We are unsure if they are official as there is no information on the Tesco website regarding the prices. As Tesco are late to the game though (not as late as Three and T-Mob) we thought we’d publish them anyway to give you an idea of what you might be paying.
Tesco has managed to offer iPhone 4 on 12 month contracts. £20/month gets you 250 minutes, 1GB of data and unlimited text messages. Handset prices on this tariff will set you back £349 for the 16GB iPhone 4 and £429 for the 32GB model. This is of course assuming that the tariffs are correct.
The next price plan up is also 12 months and costs £35/month for 750 minutes, 1GB of data and unlimited texts. The 16GB iPhone 4 drops to £229 while the 32GB model costs £299.
24 month contracts are also available which see you paying £45/month for 1GB of data with unlimited minutes and texts. The handset prices here will be £19 for the 16GB and £99 for the 32GB iPhone 4.
PAYG handsets are also pushed at Tesco Mobile with the handsets matching that of the other networks where the 16GB model is £20 cheaper than the SIM free Apple store model. Prices are £479 and £569 for the 16GB and 32GB models.
Tesco as with the iPhone 3GS have some pretty decent plans. Also note that Tesco use the O2 network to route data and calls etc… so you are essentially getting an O2 network iPhone 4 with the Tesco Mobile micro SIM and better deals than the O2 network.
We’ll let you know if these prices are indeed correct when Tesco Mobile announces them on their site.
