Apple has hit another impressive milestone recently. The company has announced that there are now a massive 650,000 apps in the app store. What makes the announcement even more impressive is that $5.5 billion USD has been paid out to developers since the app store first opened.
Out of those 650,000 apps, 250,000 of them have been designed to work with the iPad.
Although these are quite impressive numbers, Google isn’t far behind as it now has around 600,000 in the Google Play store although the amount of tablet apps doesn’t come close to the iOS iPad app number.
If you are wanting to update to a smartphone or tablet, it’s good to see that both Android and iOS is performing well here giving plenty of options on which apps to use.
