T-Mobile has announced the LG G-Slate. This particular tablet has an 8.9 inch screen and runs an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The operating system that will run on the G-Slate is Android 3.0.
The 8.9 inch screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels allowing users to watch 720p HD video. A unique feature of this particular tablet is that it has a couple of cameras on the back capable of capturing 3D pictures.
The two cameras, pictured above, can capture the 3D images at an unknown resolution at the moment. The screen then displays the pictures in anaglyph form and requires that glasses are used to view the images.
For connectivity, it’s no huge surprise that it will be compatible with the T-Mobile 4G network (HSPA). For storage, it has 32GB. We are not sure at this point if microSD is included on this tablet. We would be surprised if it wasn’t though.
It also has a number of sensors built in such as a gyro, accelerometer and light sensor.
As for a release date, it is expected towards the end of March, perhaps around the 23rd if rumors are to be believed.
