We had written a post yesterday regarding the various bugs and glitches found in Bethesda’s latest foray into the wastelands of Fallout, in New Vegas.
Posted on YouTube were videos showing a moonwalking dog and the first character you meet in the game whose head spins right around amongst many other gamers reporting game saves not working or screen freezing and the like.
Well now we have an update from the developers who have stated that…
“We have just released an automatic update for the PC version of Fallout: New Vegas that resolves quest and scripting issues. We’re working hard to make this update available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game as soon as possible and will let you know as soon as we have the dates they’ll be up.”
As far as updates for the PS3 and Xbox versions are concerned, they should be with us shortly, according to Bethesda…

There have also been various issues involving the PlayStation 3’s preorder bonus content with users only receiving an ‘80023156’ error. This is being looked into and now resolved with reassuring words from the developers
“Users should attempt to re-enter the codes to download their bonuses. Should the “80023156” error continue, we ask that players wait 24 hours before entering the code again. The code should then activate the bonus without any issue.”
