Microsoft has launched a new app in the Mac App Store called Windows Phone 7 Connector. The latest update now allows connection of a WP7 smartphone to the Mac so that it can sync with an iTunes library.
As well as being able to sync music, photos can also be syncronised along with video from the iPhoto App on Mac computers.
The requirements to get it working include the need for Mac OS 10.6.6 or higher along with any Windows Phone 7 smartphone (on any carrier), or a Zune HD.
Once installed, you get to see a list of connected devices and options to sync various files along with what Genres, Artists or Playlists you want to sync. The actual interface looks similar to how iTunes works with the capacity bar running across the bottom and all the syncing options being available above that.
The app is available now in the Mac App Store.
