Creative has launched a new Wireless Rock Speaker called the Sound Blaster Wireless Rock Outdoor Speaker. It is designed to be used outside in a garden and can have music wirelessly sent to it from a computer or other compatible device.
The speaker works on 2.4GHz technology and has a range of up to 100 feet from the source of the wireless signal that transmits the music.
Inside a 6.5 inch woofer can be found along with a stationary tweeter. Size wise, the Wireless Speaker Rock measures 12 x 11.1 x 13.8 inches in size.
As for the price, it costs $199.99. You’ll also need to cough up a little extra cash to buy a compatible wireless transmitter. It isn’t clear if only Creative transmitters can be used though.
