Angry Birds has gone from strength to strength in popularity since it originally launched. We’ve seen a bunch of spin-off products such as soft toys. We now see an Angry Birds themed tablet has launched.
The Angry Birds tablet is based around the Wopad V7 tablet. It is powered by a Cortex A8 processor. It has enough power to playback a 1080p full HD video. If you’re wondering what makes it Angry Birds other than the pictured box above then we have been told that the tablet ships with a lot of Angry Birds media pre-installed on the 4GB of memory. This includes different versions of the game as well as backgrounds for the tablet.
The tablet is quite powerful and also runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS although it isn’t clear if this model will be updated to Android Honeycomb. It has a 7 inch display that has 800 x 480 pixels. There’s 512MB of RAM and it has a camera on the front for video calling.
Pricing and launch details are not known but it appears that this particular model wont make it around this side of the world (Europe or the US).
